Installation of LibreCAD

CADavid
I have recently downloaded the LibreCAD-2.2.0.2.dmg file from you and when I do what is normally done to install it is to drag the file from my download folder to the applications folder.  All i get is a notification that the program will not run as it is not installed from the Apple Store.  Where have I gone wrong?

I am using an Apple iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011) running High Sierra V. 10.13.6.

You have enable downloaded DMG after seeing a message like that:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/102445

Also, we are using GitHub nowadays, and the latest releases:

https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/releases

For 2.2.0.2, you may also try homebrew

If by that you mean using the setting in security preferences/security privacy; I have tried that and it failed.  I also tried the link to "GitHub" and fail to understand how that helps.

Do you have a explanation as to how I can install this software? Apple does not list it in their "Store".

You can find builds for different versions, under Assets.

To run DMG, you may want to check generic macos support, as this doesn't seem to be a librecad specific issue.
