LibreCAD commands

Hello everybody,

According to this post, LibreCAD can be controlled by commands. This is a great feature, since it is possible to create drawings programmatically.

However, I don't seem to find any commands to create and select layers. Am I missing something obvious?

While at it: is there a possibility to read the drawing commands from a file?

The commands being referred to are only basic short cut typed in codes at the command line for simple tool use. Nothing so spectacular as a command for select/create layers is available..yet -anyway!

And it's not even possible to fill in commands via cut-n-paste. If I type something like

"li 0,0 10,10"

it will be ignored. It won't even work if I paste something like
"
li
0,0
10,10
"

Am I missing something? Do I really have to type everything manually? What's the point of the command interface, then?

I hear you Joe, it does seem pointless...but there you go - it is what it is for now.

But hey Joe at least libreCAD is free, cant complain!
