My LibreCAD has gone bonkers

SupDoc
When I click on circle, radius the command line asks for center, but never gives the choice radius. Instead it plops down a previously stored radius, and then asks me for another center.

When I chose dimension vertical, I pick the first point (Using snap to end points) I snap to an end point, but it doesn't snap, where I go to the second end point, it snaps to that one showing an arrow, and zero value for the dimension value.

I tried Hatch command. I clicked on the complete each of the lines that define an area & nothing happens.

Is LibreCAD corrupted? Do I need to delete LibreCAD and reinstall it?

Don't panic

Your question is as old as the Circle/Radius tool.

A search in the forum would have helped:
https://forum.librecad.org/template/NamlServlet.jtp?macro=search_page&node=4499512&query=radius&n=4499512

The best answer I found is this:
https://forum.librecad.org/Circle-Drawing-with-radius-command-tp5717618p5717619.html

If the tool option bar is missing by accident, you can reenable it in menu Widgets->Toolbars->Tool Options.

Dimension 0 : Movement restricted to vertical or horizontal?

Hatch: Did you press Enter after selecting the lines? Are the lines really connected at the endpoints, no gaps or just intersections? Does the hatch attributes box come up? If yes, maybe you have to scale down the hatch pattern there.

Dimension 0 : Movement restricted to vertical or horizontal? Bonehead, here was trying to do a vertical dimension, with tool set on horizontal!

Hatch: Did you press Enter after selecting the lines? Are the lines really connected at the endpoints, no gaps or just intersections? Does the hatch attributes box come up? If yes, maybe you have to scale down the hatch pattern there. The search option did not help. After trying every combination  of possibilies using a simple circle as my area, I eventualy figured the damned thing out. Your mention of the Enter command was the one that did the trick.

Thanks so much for all your help.  This is really great software.
