Offset Command error

When I click on the Offset button, the distance box linked with the command does not appear.  I cannot change the distance setting.

Open Widgets -> Toolbars and mark Tool Options

Did as you said.  No change.  Is it possible the distance box is hidden?  I am new to LibreCAD and I am not sure of all the details.

The distance box only appears after you have selected the source line(s) and closed the selection with Enter.
