Opening LibreCAD

Sandro
HP laptop computer with Windows 11.

Trying to open L.C., the L.C. window appears as a small icon near the L.C.icon in the application bar then immediately quickly moves to the right side of the screen (whilst enlarging) and disappears out of the right side of the screen, as if migrating to a second screen actually not present.
Weeks ago I already used LibreCAD without problems using a second screen.

Already searched the computer screen settings area.
Already restarted the computer.
Already uninstalled and reinstalled LibreCAD.

Always same behaviour.

Does it show up in your taskbar as a running program?

Or can you find it in task manager as a running process?

I think it's very unlikely to start as minimized.

Can you clear settings following
https://docs.librecad.org/en/latest/getstart/configure.html

Re: Opening LibreCAD

I installed LibreCAD on an old Acer with Windows 7 and it runs regularly.
The problem seems to be in the computer. As soon as I can (a few weeks) I'll connect to the HP the second screen and try again.

Re: Opening LibreCAD

You should first uninstall. Then, clean up all local settings.

It's a general problem for qt apps on windows , and I found a detailed description in Chinese:

If you cannot follow, try to create a new windows user account, and try again.

Likely, your previous saved windows geometry was messed and saved, so reinstallation without cleaning up the user settings doesn't help.

Re: Opening LibreCAD

I opened LC and it worked correctly. Repeated many times: always OK.
So problem selfsolved (till next appearing...). Thanks for helping.
