PDF Exporting Issues

I changed my page size to ledger (landscape) in the drawing preferences, but every time I try to export to .PDF, the result is portrait letter size. I'm brand new to CAD and LibreCAD, so any help at all would be incredibly appreciated. PRINT PREVIEW  RESULTING PDF

1, after Current Drawing Preferences to change paper size, File->save is needed;
2, file->Print preview;
3, File->Export->Export AS PDF

Hi,  I've also had pdf export issues.  My problem is that Librecad creates a pdf but the file is empty.  If I keep repeating the export as pdf function eventually it does produce a pdf of the drawing.  Once a drawing has produced a pdf for the first time subsequent exports of the same file seem to work OK.  I run under windows XP.
