Printing issue Librecad v2.2.1 (Snap)

GrafBolkonski
Hi,

I use the above version of Librecad in Ubuntu 24.04.. Printing in landscape format is not any more possible. It is always in portrait format ignoring the landscape settinging in Librecad and also printer.

Any feedback is welcome!

Regards

Snap support is still experimental.

Does this issue exist with appimage also?

It's likely a packaging only issue.

Thanks for your response.
I used the follwing version (LibreCAD-v2.2.1-x86_64.AppImage):
Version: v2.2.1
Compiler: GNU GCC 9.4.0
Erstellt am: Jan  4 2025
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Boost Version: 1.71.0
System: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS

I suppose this is Snap software.

No, that's appimage.

You should chmod the file to add execution permission and run it directly. No installation necessary.

To run snap, you need to download the snap file and install it with the snap command(need to add the option --dangerous).

I need to upload the 2.2.1 snap to the official snap repository also, to ease the process.

I actually run LibreCad all the time in execution mode. Missing execution Bit would prevent launch of software and I would have not been able to detect the printing issue. Printing into PDF File in landscape format can be performed, but not on a physical printer. Perhaps you have an idea what is wrong.
