Scale and align function

Travis S
In AutoCAD there is a function called Align.
You can select an object (or set of objects) and the click the following points:
1st reference point
1st destination point
2nd reference point
2nd destination point

Then the prompt asks if you would like to scale the selected items.
The object then moves, rotates, (and scales if selected) to bring the reference points to the destination points.
If scale was not chosen and the distance between the first and second reference points is not the same as the first and second destination points then then the object(s) are merely aligned along the line created by the destination points and the first reference point moves the the first destination point.

Is there any function like this in LibreCAD?

Every example of scale requires that I know the scale factor but when using the Align function in AutoCAD I didn't need to know the scale factor since I could select the "Scale" check box and the item would automatically scale perfectly to the new geometry.

There is Plugins - Align, but it does not scale.

With the existing extra 'Scale' feature, indeed it is a shortcoming you have to specify the scale factor numerically and can not define it by selecting original and target points.

When will LibreCAD incorporate scaling by defining origin and target points, such as scaling in AutoCAD and ProgeCAD?

Interactive scaling is supported in development versions already, please download the latest version from GitHub (say, https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/releases/tag/2.2.2_alpha-latest) and check.

As for align functionality - it's planned to be added too, yet is not available yet.
