Text does not show up

Hi I need help.  I have been trying to add text and dimensions without success.  It shows only a empty box.  I played with text dimensions without succes.  I can see the files .lff in the directory ..librecad/ressources/fonts.  I put this path in librecad under application preference. I tried to re install librecad  Nothing work  What can I do to have the text work?

check whether draft mode is disabled. In Draft mode the text and hatch objects are not drawn (as well as all lines are 1 px) The switch for draft in menu depends on the LibreCAD version, yere there should be a button on the main toolbar.

The drawing tabs say you have Draft Mode enabled. Switch it off.  
It seems you have removed the icon bar containing it's icon. You can find the command also at View (Beeld?) - Draft or by keyboard with Control+D.
