Tutorial doesn't match application #2

LinuxMint
On linuxmint 17.2

LibreCAD
SCM Revision: 2.0.2
Compiler: GNU GCC 4.8.2
Qt Version: 4.8.6
Compiled on: Jan 29 2014

Following the tutorial http://wiki.librecad.org/index.php/LibreCAD_users_Manual#Drawing_lines

"Changing Line Properties
2.  Once you have this, go ahead and click on modify on the menu bar. On the pull down menu, select properties. "

There is no Properties menu under Modify.
There is 'Same properties' and 'Attributes' that perhaps may apply.
But they don't do anything: selecting any of them then clicking on the line does not bring up any requester. The line is selected but nothing else happens.

???

Thanks.

The feature exists; see if you can download a more recent version.
Otherwise you will have to build from source.

Re: Tutorial doesn't match application #2

LinuxMint
Thank you ravas for the quick reply.

Following the installation instructions of the latest stable release on http://librecad.org/cms/home/installation/linux.html

LibreCad was updated to :

Version: master
SCM Revision: 2.0.4
Compiler: GNU GCC 4.8.2
Qt Version: 4.8.6
Compiled on: Jun 24 2014

The menu items and thus the problem are still the same.

I also noticed on the https://sourceforge.net/projects/librecad/ page that there is no activity on the *nix line. At least not for the last two months.
Is the *nix line dead?

Best regards,
Bill
