Where is/ how to get "plugin" on LibreCAD and Ubuntu?

broccolee
Hi,

I can't find the "plugin" feature in any of the drop-down menus. Where or how do I get it?

My system description:
LibreCAD 2.0.2
Compiler: GNU GCC 4.8.2
Qt Version: 4.8.6
OS: Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS

Thanks.

"plugin" does not exist in 2.0.2.
You need at least 2.1.3, so also a more recent Ubuntu to have it available.

Most if not all  plugins are already in 2.0.2, but there is no explicit menu for them.
You must browse though the menus to find them, I think names haven't changed.
investing less than half an hour into Search function can save hours or days of waiting for a solution

Hi,

I have upgraded my  system.

LibreCAD Version: 2.1.3
Compiler: GNU GCC 9.3.0
Compiled on: Mar 23 2020
Qt Version: 5.12.8
Boost Version: 1.71.0
System: Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS

The plugin is accessible from the toolbar now, but I couldn't find "plot equation". Any idea where that is? Or what do I need to do to get that?

Thanks.

Hi,

Bummer, I have everything but that! Do you know why that is?

Thanks.

Just checked, and found it is indeed missing in the Linux version of  V 2.1.3, as well as Read PIC file.
Maybe LordOfBikes knows why and if it can be retrofitted somehow. That' s beyond my knowledge.

The Windows version runs well with Wine in Linux, even easier as a portable, if you need it desperately.

Thanks for the suggestion! Got wine and can now use the "plot equation" plugin!
