displaying an original dimension plus an additional text

Janusz
Hello,
Sometimes you want to add a text to the original dimension (see the attachement). Do you know what symbol/character is to be applied to get it?
An example of the need is attached (fi 5 x 6).
Additionally I would like to keep changing dimension according to the changies of the object.
Regards
Janusz

Hello,
you can edit the dimension with Modify Property.

Hi Fabrice,
Thanks a lot for your quick reply.
I've already done that. I am not satisfied with the result - it is a Inflexible "text" (not adapting to the changes of the object).
I thought there was a special symbol that could be placed just before "my text" and this symbol would "trigger" the real dimension of the object.
Thanks again
Best regards

The missing link is probably to use <> as placeholder for the dimension value.

E.g. when you want to add the unit mm to a dimension, set the label to <> mm.
Then the dimension value will change if you modify the dimension.

Concerning the other question, about linking dimensions with corresponding entities, is called associative dimension. This is not implemented in LibreCAD.

Thank you,
This is what I partially need.
I / application cannot change displayed dimension when object is modified "by hand" but when I use scaling, for them, it works.

Thank you everybody for the time designated to me (I hope that for others it can be useful as well).

Kindest regards
Janusz

It works with "Stretch" too.
