After opening the file do an Auto Zoom (for instance by a doubleclick on the middle mouse button). At the bottom of the screen you will see the red cross of the absolute zero coordinate, along the upper border you will notice a tiny dot. That's your drawing, zoom in on it. This is because your file is to certain surveyor standards, with the zero point according to some national definition, so the objects shown are far away from the zero point. You could move the drawing objects from some building or site corner to the absolute zero point to make operations easier. You also may have to scale the drawing as measured distances seem to be a bit large for ordinary buildings. Or are these industrial buildings? It would be helpful to know some real live distance.
