This post was updated on .
Hi everybody.

I start to work with libreCAD (an amazing free ware) and i've got a problem when i copy "horizontal or vertical dimension" (cotation in french)

the copy or cut works good but the size of texts changes ! i mean my text original is "normal size" and the paste text is very very small.

I would like some help because i don't understand why copy/paste changes that !

Thanks for yours help

can not reproduce this bug.

To attach a file in post, select the "More" tool button in the composing page, similar to how you use "Insert Image" button to insert an image in your post.

Re: horizontal and vertical dimension

what's the version of LibreCAD there?

Using the latest master branch (roughly the same as 2.0.7 release) I can open your test.dxf file properly, seeing both dim entities with the same proper text size.

Re: horizontal and vertical dimension

magicman
my version

Version: master
SCM Revision: 2.0.7
Compiler: Clang 6.0.0
Qt Version: 5.4.0
Compiled on: Jan 3 2015

i found a solution !!!!

i explain
when i start my project i changed "general factor" and "general scale"

when i copy/paste the text size is very very little, in fact the text became at factor and scale 0,1 (it seems). BUT if i go to drawing preference and just clic on Ok in the window (no change), the size become normal !

why ? i don't known, maybe with yosemite (mac computer) there is a bugg.

anyway it's work ! i can make many copy and many paste. and at the end i can change the size of my dimension.

that's great

Thanks lot for your help !

Re: horizontal and vertical dimension

Seems to be a corrupted preference file.

what's puzzling is that the values in the Preferences Window are correct. Pressing OK would rewrite the preference file, and correct the underlining problem.
