line width on scaled print

Hi guys,

while doing the pdf printing tests I noticed the following:
When I define a line width, say 2mm, and then scale the printout to half the size,
the line width stays 2mm on paper. Same goes for scaling it to double size, still
2mm on paper.  Is this on purpose?
Intuitively I'd expect the width to scale as well...

This is by design:

1, line width defined at printing, independent from drawing units/scales;
2, drawing scales are defined by user, and differ by a scaling factor from printed physical dimension;

Sorry, I have to confess that I think I do not understand what you mean.
If I set linewidth while drawing to 2mm, and then print the drawing scaled to half the size..
1) I do not see an option while preparing the print to change the printed line widths independent from drawing
2) the lines get printed at 2mm width, where I'd expect them to be only 1.

I fear slowly the roots of my nickname become obvious.. :-)
