Exporting to use with libreOffice Writer

kamaron
Hi all,

I am trying to find the best way to embed a LibreCAD drawing into LibreOffice Writer.
Exporting to PNG or JPEG produces unsatisfactory results.
The lines are not smooth (jaggies) and the result depends much on the original dimensions of the drawing.
Has anybody found a good combination of dimensions + resolution + pivot format?
One of the worst aspects is the text and dimensions.
They appear too thin on the resulting file.
Thanks for your help

Another option is simply insert dxf in LO writer:
"Insert->image->from file"

And other is open dxf file with libreOffice Draw and save as odg,
in writer "Insert->object->OLE object" and select the odg file,
with this second option the draw are vectorial and editable without
converting to bitmap image

Hi Rallaz,

I tried your "receipt" and the image gets imported into LO Draw and Writer.
The problem is that not all layers are imported.
I have tried Inkscape and the DXF file produced by LibreCAD appears distorted.

Thanks
