LibreCAD not downloading from Ubuntu Software Center

LibreCAD not downloading from Ubuntu Software Center - what has happened here, LibreCAD shows in the software center, but when trying to install from there nothing downloads and installs?

Please help, please do not suggest to build it, I don't know how to. It is easier to just use software center!

Is it no longer available by this method? On my first pc I just downloaded it and then added the ppa's and updated everything - I am now trying to do the same on my laptop!

And I could install LibreCAD 2.1.0 from daily fine.

This was on ubuntu LTS 14.04 LTS

Perhaps it will help us if you post us what is what you are seeing, any error messages etc?

Well I did follow the instructions and tried to get LibreCAD from 'Ubuntu Software Center' - but may I should just use - $ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:librecad-dev/librecad-daily instead.

I'll try it later.

If its easier to not use the software center maybe the instructions could be changed to instruct end users to only use $ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:librecad-dev/librecad-daily - what do you think?

I know to little about Ubuntu to make a correct decision. You mentioned in the beginning that it was available but it wouldn't install anything.

According to the folk's at #ubuntu on freenode it's available: http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=librecad

So perhaps there is something going on on your workstation, do let us know if the installation instructions on Librecad.org worked for you.

Hey Ries, everything seems OK now, installation instructions are good.

But.... now another problem, the CAD toolbar its not showing up at all??

To avoid confusion I've started a new thread for this new problem.
