Random Lines Inserted

JDelgado0311
Sorry to be such a pain as I just posted a question.  I added a Circle and some text to the a layer (Layout New) and toggled its visibility. Then, random vertical and Horizontal lines appeared on the layer.  I closed the files and reopened it but the lines remain.

I don't think that I did something the add the lines.  So, this may be a bug.

Thanks again - Jesse

believe it or not. It's a feature by design, instead of a bug.

Have a look at http://forum.librecad.org/Need-an-icon-for-quot-Help-Layer-quot-in-the-layer-widget-td5710864.html

If you want to hide a layer, toggle the "Visible" sign. Our developer Armin is working to have a way to avoid this type confusion in the future.

Use the printer icon in the Layer List. It is disabled for layer "Layout New".
If printing is disabled for a layer, all straight lines become infinite. This feature is called construction layer.
Enable printing for the layer and the infinite line extensions disappear.

Thank you one and all!

I think it's a hardware problem - There's a nut loose behind the mouse!
