Text not showing on drawing

All text does not show. Instead, anywhere you place text only a text bounding box is placed on the drawing not the actual text.

Hello Jim Brown, Same problem on version 2.2.0
When Draft mode does it, I think that that is as intended. However, it also happens whenever I select the Zoom Panning button - which I think is in error.
My only solution at the moment is to save my work, close down and restart LibreCAD, and then reload my drawing. Everything then returns to normal. And, of course, I've stopped using Zoom Panning in version 2.2.0 meantime. Hope this may be of some help. George.
